A veteran of WCW, Daffney was most well known for dating Ric Flair's incompetent child David Flair in WCW storylines. Upon WWF's buy of WCW, Daffney was cut free, and burned through 2001 to 2008 wandering the non mainstream scene of wrestling locker rooms. Probably this is the place her and Punk initially met, and the two started dating, route before Punk discovered notoriety in the statures of WWE.
